Palliative Medicine Faculty

Join a growing interdisciplinary palliative medicine team dedicated to improving quality of life for adults with serious illness. This full-time faculty role offers opportunities in clinical care, teaching, and program development across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, evidence-based symptom management, communication, advance care planning, and family support, with clinical efforts tailored to expertise and program needs.
• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participating in interdisciplinary education, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with oncology and other specialties, supporting a comprehensive inpatient consult service and outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship
• Board‑certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state

Skills

• Experience in inpatient/outpatient palliative care
