Palliative Medicine Physician

Role Overview The position involves joining a comprehensive Palliative Care team to provide expert care for patients with serious illnesses across various settings. The role includes participation in inpatient, outpatient, and hospice services, with opportunities to lead and innovate within a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Deliver clinical care through consult teams, inpatient, outpatient, and regional hospice services.Collaborate with an interprofessional team including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, and music therapists.Engage in teaching residents, fellows, and trainees, contributing to educational programs and faculty development.Participate in research activities, including clinical trials and innovative projects such as artificial intelligence models for patient care.Contribute to academic scholarship with a focus on education and research, ideally at an associate professor level or with growth potential. Qualifications & Skills MD, DO, or equivalent, with board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Care.Completion of a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship preferred.Ability to obtain unrestricted medical licensure.Passion for clinical excellence, academic growth, and research.
