About the Role

This position involves palletizing boxes and plastic totes up to 7’ in height, reading and operating a hand-held scanner to log products into inventory, and other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Palletize boxes and plastic totes up to 7 feet in height
• Read and operate a hand-held scanner to log products into inventory
• Visually inspect product for quality defects such as coloring, broken trays, broken pallets, and wrong labels
• Visually separate and sort products based on numerical identifiers
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Willingness to push, pull, carry, lift, and stack boxes of product up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use hands and arms above shoulder level, up to 7 feet in height
• Ability to walk, stand, and crouch consistently for 6-12 hours a day
• Willingness to work in a cold environment around 28 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Notes

• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment
