Packaging Palletizing Operator

About the role

The Operator IV supports the Palletizing team at Tropicana Brands Group, a $3B startup aiming to revolutionize the beverage category. This role involves operating various Palletizing equipment and performing quality checks to ensure production schedules are met.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all Palletizing equipment including Palletizers, Scanners, Label Machines, Stretch wrappers, Conveyors, Forklifts, Man-lifts, etc.
• Maintain all Palletizing equipment to meet production schedules
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper packaging, coding, products, and other materials are correctly used in the production run
• Center-line and clean equipment to ensure peak performance and quality standards
• Track rapid changeovers to ensure the next product is started on time and correct
• Initiate and proactively solve problems, contributing to TPM teams
• Maintain areas to 5S standards
• Participate in continuous improvement processes
• Operate multi-computer skills essential to team success
• Work overtime, including more than 40 hours per week, 7 days a week, and up to 12-hour days

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to operate complex machinery
• Execute and manage a production plan
• Contribute to a team environment
• Understand and comply with quality assurance standards
• Recognize and address unsafe conditions
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Multi-skilled for various tasks
• Able to work independently and with limited supervision
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to use computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Zarpac, ADC, WMS, Dashpad
• Able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more

• Located in Bradenton, FL, surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
