Packaging Operator

Work location: Devens, MA100% onsite - Rotating shift6:00am to 6:00pm (3 days one week, 4 days the following week includes Sat. and Sun) Top 3 to 5 skills/Must Haves:GMP experience is a mustMust be willing to wear protective clothing (scrubs, gloves, socks, safety shoes)SAP knowledge is a must have. (EWM extended warehouse management)Be able to follow Standard operating procedures and work independently Job Description Summary:The Material Handler role is responsible to perform routine Material Operations activities across the Facility including receiving, sampling, warehousing, material cleaning, kitting &delivery Job DescriptionThe Material Handler role is responsible to perform routine Material Operations activities across the Facility including receiving, sampling, warehousing, material cleaning, kitting &deliveryThis will be a day shift from6am-6pm and working every other weekend. Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:General Work ActivitiesMaintain a safe work environmentDeliver the right material, to the right location, at the right time while adhering to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. The ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is requiredPerform routine Material Operations activities across the Cell Therapy Facility including receiving, sampling, warehousing, material cleaning, kitting & deliveryCoordinate, pack & ship materials to both domestic and international markets, including hazardous materialsWork on routine assignments per written procedures with little to no instruction; work on new assignments with general instructionsDocumentationComplete GMP forms and/or batch recordsPerform SAP transactions of inventoried materials and their movements to ensure compliance & inventory accuracyAuthor proceduresCollaborate & PartnerInteract effectively with Materials Operations Staff, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing. Regular interaction with external contractors such as transportation driversCollaborate with cross-functional employees & department managers to solve work-related problems and perform run-the-business activitiesSupport process investigations& CAPAs Work Requirements:A valid Drivers License (CDL preferred)Operate in a GMP warehouse environment & gown into GMP clean room areasDon Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) as required by procedures & signage. May come in contact with hazardous material requiring additional PPE including respiratory protection(employee must be physically capable to wear a respirator)May be required to work alternate shift schedules, including shift or weekend coverageValid drivers license preferredMinimum HS diploma
