Palletizer Tech

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking a Palletizer Technician to join their team at the Jonesboro, AR facility. This role involves operating a forklift and material handling equipment in a distribution center and/or manufacturing area.

About the Role

Receive and move all materials and products to staging or storage areas, arranging them for proper movement as needed. Perform work under the direction of the warehouse supervisor/manager or material handling manager.

Responsibilities

• Load both pallet dispensers with GRADE A pallets
• Change ribbon and label paper on LPN printer and case
• Check quality of pallets, labels, and other palletizer supplies
• Change film on both wrappers
• Reprocess rejected boxes on gravity conveyors
• Reset and restart robotic cells, pallet conveyors system, and wrappers when faults occur
• Direct and reassign material to balance cell flow
• Coordinate with scheduling and production regarding new changeover boxes
• Identify mechanical problems and work with maintenance for repairs
• Correct pallet label issues from the palletizer and production
• Direct and identify where broken pallets occurred and get them corrected
• Direct the loading of product to the correct shuttles and correct scanning errors
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud, noisy, industrial, high-volume environment

Requirements

• Forklift experience
• Experience working with a computer

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) or more years of forklift experience

Pay

$20.00 - $23.60 per hour based on experience, with a $0.75 shift differential.

Schedule

Night shift: 6:55 PM to 7:00 AM.
