About the role

Use a handheld inventory tool to accurately close pallets into our computer system for tracking. Responsible for packaging product neatly and correctly in cartons in an organized manner with consistent awareness and emphasis on quality and accurate counts. Duties may include box making, line inspecting, and palletizing.

Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures ranging from 39°F to 90°F for up to 8–10 hours a day. Must be able to perform paperwork when working on palletizing and keeping track of pallets.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld inventory tool to accurately close pallets into the computer system for tracking (85% of time)
• Assist in packing area as needed (10% of time)
• Work safely in a high-traffic area (5% of time)
• Maintain continual communication with leads, line coordinators, FSQA, and management to ensure product is ready to ship
• Report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive motion on a consistent and steady basis
• Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Stand in one spot for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs to chest height
• Perform twisting motions

Requirements

• 6 months of work history with one employer within the last 24 months
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
• Ability to use a handheld inventory tool
• Must be able to communicate with leads, line coordinators, FSQA, and management
