PAINTING WORK LEAD

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will lead a team of painters, ensure tasks are communicated, deadlines met, and quality supported.
• You will act as the main contact with production supervisors and provide updates on status and challenges.
• You will ensure aircraft and components are prepared and painted per standards, inspect cleanliness, verify specialty coatings, and measure thickness with precision tools.
• You will provide on-the-job training, demonstrate coating techniques, safety protocols, and comply with directives.
• You will monitor safety standards, ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment and proper disposal of hazardous materials according to instructions and laws.
• You will collaborate with engineers on new coating systems, mix coatings to viscosity, and cure them using bake ovens.
• You will work with Quality Assurance to resolve issues and implement corrective action.
