Painting and Drywall Technician 1099

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of residential painting and drywall experience preferred
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position
• Upload proof of active General Liability Insurance with your application to be considered
• Experience with drywall patching, finishing, sanding, texture blending, prep work, caulking, and interior painting
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have basic tools required for painting and drywall work
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Comfortable working independently
• Willing to undergo a background check if selected for the position
• Maintain a professional and safe work environment at all times

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall repair, patching, finishing, sanding, and prep work
• Perform interior painting and touch-up work
• Protect customer homes and maintain clean job sites
• Communicate clearly regarding project progress and issues
• Work independently once scope and expectations are provided
• Deliver professional-quality finished work

Pay

Compensation: $25–30/hr depending on experience, reliability, quality of work, and ability to work independently. (This pay range is non-negotiable)
