Position Overview: The Facilities Painter is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting and coating applications across commercial facilities. This role ensures high-quality surface preparation and finish work while maintaining safety standards and minimizing disruption to building operations. Essential Functions: Patch and paint office, outside and controlled work environmentsManage free stock inventory of painting supplies and notify supervisors when materials need replenishmentPrepare, prime, and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general repair tasks to maintain buildingsEstimate material quantities and project timelines accuratelyPerform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildingsSpecialized patching and painting within iso graded spaceTenting and securing of area to prevent particulate generating activities from affecting iso graded spaceRepairs to swing doors including strikes, hinges, crash bars, security controls including mag locks, passage sets and locksetsMaintenance and repairs of automatic doors including swing and roll upGeneral interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systemsCompletes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assignedMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedMaintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, furniture and controllersMaintain and complete documentation for safety equipment, doors, roofs, and other building systemsMaintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumpsPerform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operationsMaintain assigned and shop tools and equipment in proper working conditionRespond effectively to all emergencies. Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsMaintains a clean and safe work environment. Complete Hazard Assessments as necessaryDocuments work performance and materials procurement as directedPerform Vehicle Safety InspectionAny and all other duties assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentcompletion of an applicable technical training program is desirable3+ years of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electricalAbility to read, understand and follow SOP’s for procedures, buildings and equipmentStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong computer skills, Microsoft office and CMMS experience a plusPossess mechanical and electrical aptitudeMust have ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must have the ability to safely perform overhead work while standing on ladders up to 28 ft. Must have the ability to regularly walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, lift, push, pull, etc. in order to test and perform maintenance. Must have or be able to obtain Aerial and Boom lift certificates (performed in house) Estimated compensation for this position is: 54,080.00 – 62,400.00 USD The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.
