Painter III

About the role

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting operations on rail cars and equipment. Duties include preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Applies coatings to rail cars and equipment according to specifications.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during all tasks.
• Works collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of experience in painting or related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control practices.

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
