Painter

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces and applying paint, enamel, varnishes and other finishes using brushes, rollers and sprayers.
• Mixing and matching pigment, oil, base and thinner in the right proportion to attain the desired outcome.
• Maintaining a safe work area.
• Training apprentices in the trade.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in painting and finishing.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Skills
