About the role

The Painter is responsible for the maintenance and inspection of company properties and painting tanks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect company properties and painting tanks.
• Work in extreme weather environments, including painting tanks, filling cylinders, and maintaining company plant.
• Follow company policies and procedures, DOT regulations, state and local laws, and complete other duties as assigned.
• Comply with N.F.P.A. Pamphlets 54 and 58.

Qualifications

• Capable of working in extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions.
• Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language.
• Able to adjust schedule to fit manager’s requirements and requests or seasonal weather patterns.
• Dependable and reliable.

Company Specific Standards

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand the English language to understand task procedures, product labels, work orders, informational and warning signage.
• Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language.

Pay

This is a seasonal non-exempt hourly position, generally working from June through the beginning of September.
