Painter & Finishes Tech - 3rd Shift

Basic Function

The Painter & Finishes Tech will repair walls, ceilings and other surfaces throughout the property, both inside and out. Tasks include performing various work orders for preventive maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Performs finishes repairs and touch-ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
• Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders, and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
• Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
• Responsible for proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
• Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system (training provided).
• Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

Qualifications

• Interior painting experience required.
• Able to work independently on paint jobs.
• Must be able to properly patch and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.
• The ability to repair vinyl, faux, tile surfaces preferred.
• Able to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Compensation

$21.50 per hour + $1 per hour overnight differential
