Painter - Facilities and Engineering - Full Time (Caesars Palace LV)

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of wallpaper, paint, and furniture.
• Touch-up hotel, casino, back of house, restaurants and throughout facility.
• Repainting of curbs, traffic stripes and directional signs throughout facility.
• Maintain all finishes throughout hotel, casino, back of house and restaurants.
• Repair and repaint exterior structure and doors.
• Aid in all special projects.

Requirements

• Ability to use airless spraying equipment.
• Ability to mix and match colors.
• Handling and disposal of all hazardous waste associated with shop.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of four years’ experience in all above areas.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be capable of maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside sometimes in temperatures more than 115 degrees or cold temperatures below 10 degrees.
• Must possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, jump and carry heavy loads.
• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs.
• Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in situations.
• Must be able to learn and retain locations.
