Engineering - Painter - Full Time

About the role

The Painter is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and completing repairs across the resort that require sanding, painting, varnishing, and finishing. This position plays a key role in maintaining the visual standards and overall condition of the property while delivering service that reflects the Four Seasons commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional craftsmanship by maintaining, repairing, and refinishing painted, varnished, and wallpapered surfaces across the resort
• Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects with a high level of detail and care
• Respond promptly to work orders and room inspection requests, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and logged accurately
• Install and repair wall coverings, and refinish woodwork to uphold the resort’s luxury standards
• Maintain an organized paint shop, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are clean, stocked, and in excellent condition
• Uphold a safe and well-maintained work environment by following all safety standards and properly using personal protective equipment
• Support resort operations by collaborating with team members across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Take pride in preventative maintenance and completing projects on time while maintaining the highest quality standards
• Contribute to a positive team culture and support additional projects as needed

Requirements

• A strong passion for craftsmanship and maintaining beautiful, high-quality spaces
• Previous experience in painting or related maintenance work (1–4 years preferred)
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and finishing processes
• An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering work that meets luxury standards
• The ability to respond to requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and take ownership of tasks
• A basic understanding of building or furniture maintenance is an asset
