About the role

Prysmian is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team in McKinney, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brush and roll painting techniques, with an added advantage of knowledge and use of spray equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply Latex, oil-based, and epoxy paints using brush and roll techniques.
• Prepare surfaces (wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) for paint application.
• Ensure proper surface preparation for optimal coating performance.
• Operate lifts, ladders, and power tools as needed.
• Distinguish colors on charts, fan decks, and labels.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

• Proficient in Brush & Roll painting techniques.
• Knowledge and use of spray equipment (preferred).
• Able to operate lifts, ladders, and power tools.
• Must be able to distinguish colors on charts, fan decks, and labels.
• Dependable transportation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Willingness to undergo an onsite drug screen.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial and industrial paint and coating applications.

Pay

$25/hr.

Schedule

7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Essential Job Functions
