Responsibilities

• Apply various types of paint using gravity feed, premix, 2KS, and Pressure Pot HVLP equipment.
• Use measuring equipment such as wet MIL thickness gauges, dry MIL thickness gauges, zahn cups, and carefully handle urethanes and epoxies.
• Follow verbal directions and written specifications to complete written production records and read blueprints accurately.
• Mask parts of components such as bearings, bushings, and rub strips that should not be painted.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance activities on all painting equipment to ensure efficient performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, required.
• At least one year of industrial paint experience is essential.
• A comparable mix of education and experience will be taken into account.
• Experience with a fast-paced washer is a plus.

Skills

Regularly talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
