About the role

To repair and maintain the front and back of house by painting and decorating, and carrying out minor glazing and building repairs.

What You Will Do

• Be part of the pre-opening team!
• Re-decorate the front and back of house areas of the hotel as directed by the Assistant Manager/Director of Engineering.
• To undertake any duties required outside the hotel building, in the hotel grounds, as required, to ensure that all areas of the property are maintained to the required standard.
• Fully conversant with all the colours and finishes in both back and front of house and to ensure sufficient stock of such finishes are available at all times.
• Carry, respond to and be responsible for, a radio.
• Proactive in the perfect room maintenance program.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the workshop, plant room and areas maintained by the Engineering Department.
• Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What You Bring

• A high school education or equivalent experience.
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
