Responsibilities

  • Prepare and professionally paint recently vacated apartments.
  • Patch, sand, and prime surfaces as necessary.
  • Paint surfaces neatly and cleanly.
  • Complete clean-up and touch-up work before move-in dates.
  • Touch-ups typically take two to four hours, while full painting takes eight hours per unit.
  • Ensure a safe working and living environment for the team and residents.

Requirements

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Maintain a personal tool kit for work orders.
  • Occasionally use a company-owned vehicle for work.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or similar service industry.
  • Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial or residential environment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, treating all residents with the highest level of concern and care.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, aesthetic instincts, and color vision.
  • Familiarity with painting tools and materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hands to use and manipulate tools and objects.
  • Adequate vision to perform tasks safely.
  • Sufficient stamina and dexterity.
  • Able to move about the property for various tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
