Paint Technician (day & afternoon shifts available)

About the role

Peninsula Powder Coating seeks full-time Paint Technicians to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. We're looking for a hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate painting equipment
• Keep paint booths and curing ovens clean and running smoothly
• Take pride in producing high-quality finishes

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Previous industrial painting experience a bonus
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to paint powders
• Safe work practices including proper lifting, wearing protective equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment
• Organized, reliable, and works well individually and as a team member
• Works well under time constraints and meets deadlines

Qualifications

This is a full-time position. Schedules may flex based on company production needs. Available shifts include:

• Day shift: 7am – 3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
• Afternoon shift: 3:30pm – 2am (Monday-Thursday)
