Paint Shop Technician 1

Job Duties

• Perform sanding, cleaning, masking, and other tasks related to the preparation and completion of industrial parts for military coating finishes.
• Work as a team and individually towards a common goal with clear communication efforts.
• Follow standard and common shop processes to perform work tasks but also be able to 'adapt and overcome' when appropriate.
• Follow ISO9000 and AS9100 standard processes and procedures.
• Job tracking, data entry, and paperwork as deemed necessary.
• Project scheduling and demands are fluid, thus tasking may deviate when necessary.

Qualifications

• HS/GED education.
• Previous experience performing sanding, blending, cleaning, masking, or other tasks related to the preparation and completion of industrial parts for paint finishes is a plus.
• Experience as a technician working in a manufacturing/industrial/shop environment is also accepted.
• Basic computer skills are a must (logging in, email, timecard entry, job tracking, etc.).
