About the role

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Paint Seibi Technician for a 12-month contract in Princeton, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Online robot programming - Sealer, UBC, and Dampening Run trials and adjust parameters
  • Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
  • Online robot Programming - Primer, Base and Clear Run trials and adjust parameters
  • Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
  • Offline robot programming
  • Use simulation software to perform reach studies and cycle time analysis
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software
  • Evaluate Quality
  • Use elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite
  • Create Hand Over Documents
  • Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC’s
  • Effective communications
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word

Qualifications

  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
  • Experience with Kawasaki Robots, Fanuc Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting)
  • Experience with Digital Engineering
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
  • Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • Additional related certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
