Overview

Titanium Paint Production Engineering Department is seeking a dedicated Paint Seibi Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality production through precise robot programming and quality control.

About the Role

The Paint Seibi Technician will be responsible for offline simulations, online programming, equipment confirmations, schedule management, and quality trial execution. They will also communicate with peers and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Offline simulations / online programming (Carrot 3 and Catia)
  • Quality Adjust for Topcoat, Underbody and Plastics shop
  • Equipment confirmations
  • Create and manage schedules
  • Create status reports
  • Communicate with PE Specialists and other Paint Seibi Techs
  • Communicate with Paint pilot members
  • Program Topcoat robots
  • Program UBC robots
  • Program Plastics robots
  • Run quality trials through the above process
  • Resolve conflicts in job scope and design
  • Troubleshoot Paint process including robot programs

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience with high and low viscosity processes
  • Digital engineering experience
  • Kawasaki and Fanuc Robot programming experience
  • Quality instruments experience
  • Knowledge of Toyota Quality Standards
  • Able to use Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Able to communicate across multiple platforms
  • 2- or 4-year technical degree
  • PLC logic and trouble-shooting experience

Qualifications

  • Conveyor circuit and safety interlock knowledge (optional)
