Paint Repour Processor
About the role
This position is an essential part of Sherwin-Williams’ manufacturing team, responsible for helping maintain acceptable service levels for Sherwin-Williams customers. The department works to correct any problems identified with products manufactured by Sherwin-Williams plants and various vendors that supply paint-related materials, performing various tasks on a daily basis.
Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and other items of value. A review of criminal history is required to protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of staff, employees, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Use cognitive and intellectual capabilities to count, add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read and follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Communicate and work cooperatively with coworkers
- Maintain regular attendance as required for the length of the project
- Perform required physical activities safely in the work environment
- Pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy
- Keep managers informed of shift progress and events
- Encourage a safe work environment by modeling a positive, safety-focused mindset and motivating employees to follow all safety and company policies
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse and/or distribution center environment
- At least one (1) year of work experience operating stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists, stackers, mills, or farm/construction equipment
- At least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors, pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
- At least one (1) year of work experience in order picking and entering orders, including data entry and scanning bar codes
- At least one (1) year of work experience handling hazardous materials and wearing appropriate PPE

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay
Compensation decisions are dependent on factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. The wage range for this role reflects these considerations.
This position is eligible for a bonus based on performance, subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
