Starting pay: $23.02 hourly, with a $1.00 shift differential.
Schedule
- 2nd shift: 3PM–11PM, Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime required
- Training on 1st shift (7 AM–3 PM, Monday through Friday) for the first 6–8 weeks
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
- Operate mixing and processing equipment according to production instructions
- Accurately add raw materials to batches in the correct order and amounts
- Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stage materials
- Monitor batches during processing to ensure quality standards are being met
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments to color, viscosity, or strength as directed
- Transfer materials between tanks or vessels using pumps and transfer hoses
- Record batch information such as temperatures, mix times, speeds, and adjustments
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn production and inventory systems
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and accurately document work
- Ability to distinguish between colors and shades
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Ability to complete required safety and job-specific training
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move over, under, and around production equipment
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting hoses, manipulating valves, operating and adjusting equipment, stacking pallets, and carrying materials
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 80 lbs. occasionally

Work Environment & Safety
- Manufacturing facility handling water-borne and solvent-based materials
- Fast-paced production environment
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
