Responsibilities

• Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment.
• Move switches and dials to start flow current and activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment.
• Turn valves and observe gauges to set pressure and control flow of paint to each spray station.
• Readjust pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray to correct flaws in coating.
• Clean paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses.
• Perform other housekeeping as required.
• Perform visual checks of quality of parts going through paint booths.
• Maintain respirators according to Exmark's respiratory program.
• Perform periodic maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
• Continually strive to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Occasionally assist with loading or unloading of parts.
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Possess some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.

Pay

Starting pay: $22.24 per hour
