Painter - 1st Shift (powder coating)

Responsibilities

• Inspect details and evaluate the painting work required for the part.
• Establish the correct paint for the application as specified by shop paperwork.
• Mix paints according to supplied directions or Technical Data Sheets.
• Prepare and perform minor sanding to detail surfaces before applying paint.
• Paint effectively on different surfaces and metals using a spray gun or other paint methods.
• Manage time effectively to complete all delegated work within specified deadlines.
• Work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers.

Work Environment

Work is performed in shop conditions and can exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Requirements

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must meet ITAR requirements prior to employment.
