Paint Operator - Beam Line 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee the automated paint line for structural steel beams.
• Ensure proper coating application, equipment functionality, and quality control throughout the painting process.
• Operate machines, ovens and baths, pumps.
• Set paint guns at high voltage level and adjust air flow rates.
• Manage painting programs and adapt parameters.
• Understand ATEX risks (explosive mass) and automatic fire systems (STS).
• Run the PH degreasing bath equipment.
• Handle production steps: degreasing – rinsing of products; drying, baking oven and paint booths.
• Perform bath controls: pH tab, titration products.
• Perform paint checks using Elcometer.
• Use required PPE: glasses, overalls, masks, earplugs, caps, gloves, plastic sleeves.
• Utilize PM blow guns.
• Operate ATEX vacuum cleaner to clean floor, powder bins, etc.
• Operate cleaning machine to clean floor.
• Maintain suction cabin for cleaning powder tanks.
• Collect powder using plastic bag + shovel or dust collector.
• Use spare parts for preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.

Requirements

Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing.
