Paint Line Painter TN

About the role

This position reports to the Paint Line Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Areas of responsibility

Include, but are not limited to:

• Loading/Unloading various parts to conveyor
• Preventive maintenance
• Titrations and chemical adjustments of the washer and wastewater system
• Powder painting to include hand spraying faraday areas
• Startup/Shutdown Paint System
• Inspection of final painted parts
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position

Requirements

• Operate overhead air hoist and drive forklift
• Organizational skills a plus
• Good communication skills and able to work as a team
• Chemical experience a plus
• Industrial powder or E-Coat Experience desired
• General preventive maintenance a plus and the ability to troubleshoot
• Basic Math
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures

Physical requirements

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance
