Paint Line Technician TN

About the role

This position reports to the Paint Line Supervisor and is responsible for the fulfillment of all assigned duties with authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the paint line and powder painting during break times.
• Perform titrations and adjust chemicals in the washer and wastewater system.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of the paint line systems.
• Load and unload various parts to the conveyor.
• Perform powder painting and inspection of final painted parts.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned or logically inherent to the position.

Requirements

• Operate overhead air hoist and drive forklift.
• Organizational skills (a plus).
• Good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
• Chemical experience (a plus).
• Industrial powder or E-Coat experience (desired).
• General preventive maintenance and troubleshooting ability (a plus).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Work is generally performed in a production plant (80% of the time) and an office setting (20% of the time).
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less, with or without assistance.
