About the role
The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pain management.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include the instruction of medical students and residents rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) as well as participation in the didactic series of the department.
- Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of pain management and clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC.
Requirements
- A B.A. certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license are required.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
