About the role

Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Paid Social Strategist. You’ll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. Responsibilities

  • Supporting media initiatives by providing strategic recommendations for paid social campaigns
  • Analyzing data and providing insights to improve paid media performance
  • Executing paid social campaigns including campaign build-outs, budget pacing, and bid optimizations
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance to ensure they are meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Conducting benchmarking, projecting, and reach & frequency analysis to inform media planning
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role
  • A passion for social media and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field

Qualifications

  • Substantially improving media metrics primarily by managing bidding strategy and budgets
  • Designing and executing creative tests that lead to data-driven design optimizations and considerations
  • Controlling bids and budgets across multiple campaigns to drive a holistic result
  • Understanding integrated media strategies and concepts
  • Generating robust media plans based on reach, frequency, projected CPA or ROAS goals
  • Understanding Facebook audiences and audience modeling overall
  • Clear understanding of social auctions and all parameters that affect them (bid, budget, relevance, available inventory, etc)
  • Reliably creating audiences from different sources while limiting overlap or cannibalization
  • Creating media plans at effective spend levels, highlighting efficiency and scaling
