About the role
As a Paid Social Manager, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across key platforms, working closely with cross-functional strategists and global teammates. You’ll own performance on social channels end to end, mentor a small team, and act as a trusted partner to clients—translating business goals into high-impact paid social strategies that drive measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of one to two paid social buyers or strategists
- Own the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and other emerging social channels
- Proactively dive deep into each paid social platform to understand day-to-day performance drivers, creative impact, audience signals, and algorithm changes
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring paid social strategies align with client goals and consistently deliver results
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, analytics) and external partners to build and execute innovative, social-first media strategies
- Partner with global teammates, including North America, to align on paid social strategy, testing frameworks, and best practices across regions
- Analyze campaign performance and attribution data to surface actionable insights and optimization opportunities
- Continuously refine and improve paid social processes, documentation, and workflows to drive team efficiency and performance
- Stay up to date on paid social trends, platform updates, ad formats, creative best practices, and privacy changes impacting performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns (Meta Ads required; experience with TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, or other platforms strongly preferred)
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Proven experience owning performance and optimization for paid social campaigns at scale
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain performance and strategy
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with paid social tools and analytics platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and reporting dashboards
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Ability to prioritize your own work and guide team priorities based on client needs
