About the role
We are QRY, a media-buying agency specializing in scaling retail brands through sophisticated data analytics and a full-funnel marketing strategy. We are seeking a Paid Search Strategist to lead search performance for a portfolio of clients across Google, Bing, YouTube, and other retail channels.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimize search and shopping programs for 5-8 clients, using search planning tools to develop search plans.
- Strategize and implement A/B experiments to test keywords, bid strategies, ad copy, landing pages, offers, etc.
- Advises on paid search strategies to meet client goals.
- Stay current on search, social media, mobile marketing, tracking, tagging, behavioral marketing, retargeting, and addressability trends.
- Manage monthly reporting and strategy sessions with clients, owning overall communication for all channel initiatives.
- Scope, develop, and manage channel initiatives to consistently hit agreed KPI targets, including MER/ROAS, CAC/LTV, revenue, and efficiency.
- Present reports to clients, highlighting performance, cross-channel impact, and next steps.
- Complete monthly forecasts based on budget and/or revenue goals.
- Collaborate with other media and creative agency team members to ensure creative specifications are met.
- Identify and implement cross-channel strategies to improve performance.
- Communicate with clients on ad hoc issues and offer solutions.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of successful hands-on paid search or SEM experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- An analytical mindset with experience turning complex data into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with senior stakeholders effectively.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Passionate about the e-commerce, advertising, and agency industries.
- A creative problem solver with a willingness to tackle challenges with innovative solutions.
