About the role

Directive Consulting is the leading B2B marketing agency for companies that prioritize real business results. With over a decade of expertise and 420+ B2B brands, we operate through three divisions—Performance, Communications, and Commerce—unified by our DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology. This role sits within our Paid Media team, where you’ll build high-performing strategies for B2B businesses across Technology, Industrial, and Services markets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align on tasks, work quality, and improvements
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing accuracy within a CRM
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Manage personal productivity and utilization
  • Work directly with Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize ROI

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OKRs
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Unique perspective on how to drive value for SaaS
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Competitive, curious, and a true problem solver
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, including AI and automation
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quality-obsessed with a passion for advertising
  • Travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is $70,000–$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility. Actual salary may vary based on skills and experience.

Schedule

  • Reliable internet access and a professional background for virtual meetings
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and interpret written/verbal communication
  • For global roles (Canada, UK, Australia), must have established work authorization and permanent residency in the country
