Paid Media Strategist

About the role

DelRicht is growing our Paid Media team and searching for a full-time Paid Media Strategist to support patient enrollment through thoughtful campaign planning and hands-on execution. This individual contributor will manage and optimize paid media campaigns, analyze performance, and share insights that help the team identify opportunities, address risks, and improve enrollment outcomes. Our customer is the patient.

DelRicht partners with physicians to conduct clinical trials, and our paid media team helps connect potential patients with research opportunities and possible new treatments. The business model is not simply to run ads or generate leads: success means attracting the right patients, in the right markets, and helping studies reach their enrollment goals.

The work is unusually complex. At any given time, we may be supporting dozens of simultaneous studies across our national site network. Each study has a different patient population, geographic pocket, enrollment timeline, level of urgency, eligibility criteria, and budget. Campaigns are hyper-localized, priorities can shift quickly, and the strongest strategy for one study may not work for another. Within your portfolio you will manage sizable, six-figure-or-larger media budgets and make day-to-day decisions about pacing, allocation, targeting, creative testing, and optimization. This is a hands-on role: you will constantly evaluate results, adjust budgets, test new approaches, and decide where the next dollar can create the greatest enrollment impact.

You’ll be joining a four-person team where you will own paid media strategy and day-to-day campaign decisions within your portfolio of studies. You will have the freedom to move quickly when the data supports a change, while partnering with leadership on broader company priorities, investment decisions, and overall enrollment strategy. We expect you to bring a point of view, explain the business case behind your recommendations, and take accountability for results. There is no fixed playbook for every campaign. Enrollment needs evolve, performance changes, new studies launch, and budgets must be rebalanced—sometimes quickly. You will need to make sound decisions with incomplete information, stay calm when priorities compete, and be comfortable operating through some ambiguity. The reward is meaningful ownership: your decisions can influence study enrollment, resource allocation, and whether more patients gain access to potential new treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns to support patient enrollment for clinical trials.
  • Analyze campaign performance and share actionable insights to improve enrollment outcomes.
  • Make day-to-day decisions on pacing, budget allocation, targeting, creative testing, and optimization for six-figure-or-larger media budgets.
  • Develop and execute hyper-localized campaigns tailored to diverse patient populations, geographic areas, and study-specific criteria.
  • Translate data into business recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Operate with an ownership mindset, adapting strategies as enrollment needs and priorities shift.
  • Collaborate with leadership on company-wide priorities, investment decisions, and enrollment strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or an equivalent field, or a combination of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns (exceptional candidates with slightly less experience and demonstrated rapid growth will be considered).
  • Hands-on media buying experience, including setting up, executing, and optimizing campaigns in Meta.
  • Demonstrated success managing a portfolio with six-figure or larger paid media budgets across platforms such as Meta and Google.
  • Experience with lower-funnel performance marketing and/or direct response campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in performance marketing analytics, attribution, reporting, and campaign operations.
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience developing testing roadmaps and using experimentation to improve performance.
  • Strong media planning abilities, including identifying cost-effective strategies for reaching niche audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience with marketing analytics tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
  • Ownership mindset, curiosity, adaptability, and a track record of driving measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience setting up and optimizing campaigns across multiple channels and demand-side platforms.
  • Experience in an agency, ad tech, or similarly high-performance media environment.
  • Experience across multiple industries or campaign types (e.g., clinical research, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, consumer marketing, lead generation, direct response, recruitment marketing).
  • Clinical research or healthcare experience is a plus but not required; we prioritize exceptional growth marketers with strong strategic thinking and analytical ability.
