About the role

We’re seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join our team on a contract basis (up to 40 hours/week). This is a hands-on role supporting a high-impact service organization, with potential to transition into a full-time position as business needs grow. The role focuses on the tactical execution of paid media campaigns and whitelisting/allowlisting, working closely with internal teams to implement campaign structures, manage day-to-day optimizations, and ensure successful delivery of paid influencer assets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute paid influencer campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, including setup of creative assets, hooks, and formats based on platform best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize ad performance by managing audience targeting, budget allocation, and campaign structure for maximum efficiency.
  • Own the whitelisting/allowlisting process: request Partnership Ad codes and TikTok Spark Ad codes from creators, track authorization status, troubleshoot rejected or expired permissions, and re-request as needed to avoid campaign delays.
  • Support Strategy and Client Services teams by implementing technical requirements for new campaigns and ensuring correct tracking configuration.
  • Build client-facing materials and proposals that clarify paid media strategy, including budget allocations, targeting strategies, and flight schedules.
  • Utilize Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Ads Managers to deploy and manage high volumes of creator content.
  • Set up and manage campaigns end-to-end: structure, targeting, creative deployment, and optimization.
  • Analyze and report on performance data, translating metrics like CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, and attribution into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with campaign and account teams to align paid strategy with organic influencer content calendars.
  • Recommend creative formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, Partnership Ads, Whitelisting, Spark Ads) based on platform best practices and campaign goals.
  • Execute Paid Partnership Ads campaigns: discovery, outreach, negotiations, and contracting of creators to develop content for paid media campaigns.
  • Own client communications for Paid Partnership Ads campaigns, providing recommendations for creator content development and supporting brief creation.

Requirements

  • Strong execution capabilities in paid social, with the ability to implement and manage ad campaigns that drive measurable performance.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Ads Managers, specifically whitelisting and conversion-focused campaigns.
  • Agency background in paid media (influencer or creator marketing agency experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to context-switch across multiple accounts.
  • Familiarity with social commerce is a bonus.

Pay

The hourly rate for this contract position is $30–45 USD (remote, United States).
