Paid Media Analyst

About the role
The Hospitality Paid Media Analyst is responsible for working with internal teams to set up campaigns, oversee monthly budget management, track performance metrics, implement account optimizations, and analyze reporting to provide insights and recommendations for several client accounts across all Paid Search platforms (Google, Microsoft Ads), Paid Social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok), and OTAs (Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor). This role is client-facing and requires effective communication and skilled presentation.
The Hospitality Paid Media Analyst is accountable for creating and maintaining client Media Plans, ensuring all billing and media invoicing is complete and accurate. In addition to Paid Media, this role oversees profile and listing updates, maintaining profiles on platforms like Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor, Yext, Yelp, and onboarding or auditing new profile clients as needed.
Success is measured by account retention and growth, client satisfaction, delivery of innovative marketing programs, personnel development, and strong financial management reflecting media plans.
Responsibilities
- Research and understand client business, products or services, verticals, and competition.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, new processes, industry changes, best practices, competitor intelligence, and developments in paid search and social.
- Manage and execute paid media plans.
- Oversee monthly paid media budgets and track performance metrics across multiple client accounts and channels.
- Onboard and set up new client accounts and campaigns within platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Expedia, TripAdvisor, and other digital media.
- Onboard, oversee, and manage profile management reporting including Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor, Yext, and Yelp.
- Conduct profile and listing audits, provide recommendations and insights, and implement updates as instructed by internal teams within assigned deadlines.
- Delegate tasks to the Hospitality Paid Media Coordinator as needed.
- Advise Account Teams and clients on campaign optimizations to maximize conversion rates, ROI, and quality site traffic.
- Collaborate with the internal analytics team to set up and troubleshoot tracking issues or data inconsistencies.
- Review and analyze monthly paid media performance, providing recommendations and insights to Account Directors and Clients.
- Independently analyze account performance and identify areas of improvement for client accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- 4-6+ years of paid search or paid social experience.
- Digital agency experience and additional online marketing experience.
- 4-6+ years’ experience executing advertising campaigns within Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Facebook Business Manager.
- Proficient with Google Analytics.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively as a team.
- Willing to take direction when needed but also work independently.

Pay
$60,000 - $78,000 DOE
