About the role
The Voter Education Project seeks to mobilize and empower voters in specific U.S. based states and territories during the 2026 election cycle. As a Canvasser, you will engage with community members, provide accurate and relevant information about upcoming elections, candidates, and important ballot measures, and encourage voter participation.
Responsibilities
- Engage with community members to educate them on upcoming elections, candidates, and ballot measures.
- Provide accurate and relevant information to encourage voter participation.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Professional, diligent, organized, self-starter, and capable of working autonomously.
- Previous experience and knowledge within political and electoral engagement roles are a plus.
Qualifications
- The ability to write and read.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work every day as assigned.
- Physical ability to walk and/or stand for 5-8 hours a day.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of field strategy, targeting, and metrics.
- Knowledge and experience of Canvassing Software and Platforms.
