Freelance Animator (On-site)

About the role

This opportunity is for a skilled After Effects animator to join an on-site team at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles for a two-day event. The role involves updating and creating motion graphics content for live event screens, working with existing assets such as stills, text, and parallax effects. The animator will collaborate closely with the event production team to ensure all visual content aligns with evolving client specifications and delivers a high-impact experience for attendees. The project requires immediate availability and the ability to deliver polished, engaging animations under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Update existing motion graphics animations using provided stills, text, and parallax effects to meet new client requirements.
• Create new event content as needed, ensuring consistency with the event’s visual style and branding.
• Collaborate on-site with the production team to implement real-time feedback and last-minute changes.
• Prepare and deliver final animation files optimized for large-scale event screens.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed and ready for the event by October 19.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Adobe After Effects, with a strong portfolio of event or live content animation.
• Experience working on-site in fast-paced event environments.
• Ability to quickly adapt existing assets and create new animations under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with production teams.
• Availability to work on-site at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles for two consecutive days.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, client-ready content.
• Familiarity with parallax effects, text animation, and large-format screen requirements.
