About the role

The Voter Education Project is a non-profit organization that has been active since 2013, focusing on enhancing voter engagement through various methods such as business-to-business engagement, phone banking, peer-to-peer texting, canvassing, and organizational oversight.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community members to provide accurate and relevant information about upcoming elections, candidates, and ballot measures.
• Encourage community members to participate in the electoral process.
• Contribute to the direct impact on the local community and the promotion of civic participation.

Requirements

• Proficient in writing and reading.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to work every day as assigned.
• Physical capability to walk and/or stand for 5-8 hours a day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and knowledge in political and/or electoral engagement are a plus.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of field strategy, targeting, and metrics.
• Experience with Canvassing Software and Platforms.

Benefits

Compensation varies based on role and project, ranging from $22 to $27 per hour.

Pay

$22 - $27 per hour (Role & Project Based, Varies)

Schedule

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
