PACU Registered Nurse

Role: PACU RN responsible for post-anesthesia patient care in a community hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, managing pain and nausea.Maintain airway stability and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to ensure safe recovery and seamless handoffs.Provide culturally responsive, equitable care to a diverse, underserved population. Qualifications & Skills Compassionate, detail-oriented RN with strong assessment and monitoring skills.Ability to respond quickly to patient needs and changes in condition.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.Commitment to delivering equitable, community-focused care.
