PACS / Imaging Analyst Consultant

About the role

100% Remote position. Must be based in the United States and available for early East Coast meeting times. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screening; marijuana use is a non‑negotiable disqualifier regardless of state legality or medical/recreational status.

Responsibilities

• Work through PACS conflict and error queues resolving image‑to‑patient filing issues using prescribed correction methods.
• Address a range of conflict types (for example, name mismatches or missing identifiers) using established, scripted approaches per conflict category.
• Escalate unusual or non‑standard conflicts to the client's PACS team as needed.
• Maintain accurate status reporting and task tracking within the client's project management systems as required.

Requirements

• Experience with PACS/imaging systems, ideally including archive or conflict resolution work.
• Direct Acuo experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable with detail‑oriented, prescribed troubleshooting work across multiple queues.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity with a distributed team.
• Strong attention to detail, given the direct patient‑safety implications of correct image‑to‑patient matching.

Skills

• Direct experience with Acuo or Visage specifically.
• Experience supporting PACS environments for a large hospital or health system.
