About the role
The Packing Operator is responsible for executing all aspects of solid-dosage manufacturing, including packout of finished goods bottles and cleaning activities. The role requires interaction with all site support personnel and the ability to document batch records accurately.
Responsibilities
- Aid Packaging Management with scheduled and requested activities.
- Ensure timely completion of all scheduled commercial and non-commercial packing activities.
- Become proficient in setting up, operating, and cleaning all cGMP equipment used during packaging operations.
- Participate in Quality Investigations as needed.
- Adhere to all approved Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, and Safety Procedures.
- Ensure the primary and secondary packaging areas are cleaned and maintained according to SOPs and good housekeeping practices.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during cGMP activities as specified in Batch Records and Safety Data Sheets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or pharmaceutical life science related field.
- Experience in bottle packing.
- Familiarity with cGMP solid dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
