Packing

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Operate jib cranes and overhead cranes in a safe and productive manner.
• Read special instructions to meet customers' requirements on specifications.
• Inspect material as it is being loaded or unloaded at furnaces and when packing hard material.
• Record information into the computer system when required.
• Keep the area that you are working at clean and orderly daily.
• Work well with people in the area.
• Perform other duties in different departments during the day if the Production Supervisor requires it.

Other Functions

• Participate in programs to improve safety, quality, and process improvements within the department or other production areas.

Decision Making

Will report to the lead personal and shift supervisor to ensure effective compliance to safety, productivity, and maintenance issues as they apply to the department.

Pay

Starting wage is based on experience and skill set. Minimum starting is at $ 21.33/hr.

Schedule

This is a 3rd shift position. 8pm-6am.
