Responsibilities

• Work in all areas of the packing department and operate all associated equipment in a safe and productive manner
• Pack material to customer specifications
• Operate jib cranes and overhead cranes in a safe and productive manner
• Read special instructions to meet customers' requirements on specifications
• Inspect material as it is being loaded or unloaded at furnaces and when packing hard material
• Record information into the computer system when required
• Keep area that employee is working at clean and orderly daily
• Work well with people in the area
• May be required to perform other duties in different departments during the day if Production Supervisor requires it
