Packer - Second Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Packs bags of chips into cartons.
• Assembles cartons, applies stickers and packs cases according to case specifications while verifying the package quality of finished product.
• Inspects quality of chips and chip packages.
• Examines seasoning on chips after chips are packaged.
• Matches product codes of chips being packaged.
• Verifies weight of packaged chips.
• Repacks product merchandise into cartons on sack/tray lines.
• Performs other tasks which will assist the packaging flow operation such as but not limited to: stickers product items, prepares boxes to be packed (caddies), hand picks chips, and gives lunch and work breaks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.

Skills

• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

• $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday from 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
