About the role
You will be trained as a Packer Operator and part of a team. You will develop a working knowledge and troubleshooting skill set for equipment while gaining responsibility for the Packing operation of thermal transfer printing ribbons to specifications to prepare for storage and shipment.
Schedule
- A-Shift: 6am–6:15pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Wednesday
- B-Shift: 6pm–6:15am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Saturday
- C-Shift: 6am–6:15pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & every other Wednesday
- D-Shift: 6pm–6:15am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & every other Saturday
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot packing equipment for thermal transfer printing ribbons
- Ensure products meet specifications for storage and shipment
- Diagnose fundamental process issues
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Troubleshoot problems and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of applicable machine operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures, specs, and follow instructions
- Views quality as a personal responsibility; fixes quality problems immediately and strives to prevent reoccurrences
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
