Packer/Inspector - NIGHT SHIFT-1

Responsibilities

• Read work order for product specifications and any special instructions concerning packaging, special skids, cartons, cradles, banding requirements, and samples
• Inspects products for customer requirements and any defects
• Affords assistance in start-up and change over of machinery or orders
• Performs all required quality checks on all orders on a regular basis
• Adheres to all packaging requirements per Production Work Order
• Enters production in JDE and prints all necessary paperwork, to include closing out last skid of order
• Completes at least one Work Place Observation per month
• Places customer labels on end of cartons or gaylords in a straight and neat manner. Adhere to any and all identification sheets, tally sheets, bar codes as requested by the customer

Requirements

• Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale
• Able to lift 30 pounds
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
